Leaving the Department Procedure

**Graduates should not begin the graduation procedure until all the final grades are sent to the Registrar' s Division**

Step 1Log in the "Online Application System for Graduation from NCKU", and print out the "the application form for graduation from NCKU".

 **Posrgraduate students please note: In the "Department Column" of the above form, please ask the supervisor to sign in person.

Step 2Please fill in the "Online Questionnaire for Graduates of the ChE Department, NCKU"

Step 3.  Postgraduate students please upload your "E-Thesis" to the ChE website, while PhD students must upload the other "Meeting Minutes".

Step 4.  Postgraduate students please submit one hard copy of your thesis 
             (For Master, it is a yellow paperback edition. For PhD, it is a black leather hardcover edition)

**This hard copy of the thesis is collected by the department office, and will be sent to the "National Library" by the school. 
**If this hard copy needs to be "postponed for publication (up to 5 years)", please submit the following two documents, both documents need the student and the teacher to sign in person.

  1. Application for Embargo of Thesis/Dissertation      
  2. Documents proving the postponed for publication:
  • Due to "contains secret": Please fill in the "supporting documents" of the ChE department      

  • Due to "patent matters": Please attach "the first page of the patent document" as supporting documentation.

  • Due to "not allowed to be provided according to law": If the thesis involves corporate secrets related to industry-university cooperation, please fill in the "supporting documents" and attach a copy of the "Confidentiality Agreement".

Step 5.   After completing the above steps, the department will stamp the "the application form for graduation from NCKU".

  1. For Bachelor: Please contact Ms. Zhao in the Department Office.

  2. For Master & PhD: Please contact Ms. Lai in the Department Office.
