摘要：

We might have felt that our writing lacks flow, or that our presentations do not quite grasp the audience’s attention. These issues often stem from how well we understand and master the distinct demands of each register. In this talk, we delve into the subtle art of both registers. We will learn how to navigate between the two, sharpening skills that make academic communication not only precise but also powerful.

學經歷 :

Chen Chang graduated from the Department of English at National Chengchi University and earned a Master’s degree in Philosophy from National Chung Cheng University. He also pursued graduate studies in Philosophy at Tufts University in the US. After completing his graduate studies, he appeared in English writing educational shows produced by Chinese Television System and assisted several higher education institutions as well as industry organizations with professional training programs. He is now teaching at the Academic Writing Education Center of National Taiwan University. His teaching focuses on fundamental English writing, academic English writing, English oral presentations, and communication skills.
