摘要 :

Tricalcium silicate (Ca₃SiO₅, C3S)-based bioceramics have emerged as promising materials for dental applications due to their excellent bioactivity, biocompatibility, and ability to induce hard tissue formation. This study summarizes the development of C3S-based materials from laboratory synthesis to large-scale production. The focus includes optimization of synthesis methods, control of setting time, mechanical strength, and ion release behavior, as well as their antibacterial and pulp-healing performance. Advances in process engineering, such as sol-gel synthesis, enable consistent quality and scalability for clinical use. The transition from lab to mass production demonstrates the potential of C3S-based bioceramics as next-generation dental restorative and pulp-capping materials.
